That's odd, I have a very comparable system and my game runs pretty decent with all graphics turned to highest settings. NOW, I do not know the FPS cuz I haven't bothered too yet, but gameplay is pretty smooth all the time. I do get hiccups now and then but thats about it.

CPU: AMD 3500+
PSU: Thermaltake 620
RAM: Crucial 2gig ddr400
Vcard: BFG Nvidia 7950GT OC
etc...

Is there an in game command from the console or something to display our FPS??

I am using the most recent ones from the website. Which BFG always use the Nvidia drivers from nvidia's website.

Which I imagine are what you would be using.

You may want to check out www.guru3d.com and maybe try some from that site, but do use caution if you decide too.

Also can you tell me how to get teh FPS to show in game, without a 3rd party softare to show me my FPS ?

Well there are two numbers that show up

like "##.# / ##.#"

The one on left was (while i was in the titan fighting) like 20's ...

but the game ran smooth.... so

It should be running fine... mine does just fine and it's an old rig:
AMD Athlon 3200+
BFG 6800 GS
1 gig PC3200 ram (was 2 gig, but a stick died).. still works though.
Raptor HD

But my fps is much better using older NVidia drivers (but my card is old too). I hold steady in mid 40 fps, dropping to 28 or so in real busy areas. Turn off AA and dynamic shadows since they're the biggest hog and see if that helps at all. Also look at sound settings. Look at tweakguides.com for ideas on those settings for everything.
