Changing GFX Card; what about drivers?

I am currently using X1600, and got myself CCC installed. When I installed the legacy driver, Win7 complains that my GFX driver is not up to date, and insist that I use the Microsoft Driver something instead.

Anyway, here is the story, I am going to get a ATI HD5670, so if I replace the hardware, what are some of the things I should be aware of? Do I need to uninstall the old GFX drivers first before installing or I can replace it with the new drivers? What about the CCC? Do I have to do anything with it? Is there anything else I need to be aware of?
