well ,, does the motherboard affect the current (or coltage) drawn by any card or drive in the pc or it's only has to do with the power supply ??

in other words ,, can two different branded motherboard for the same cpu _sam category_ supply current (or voltage ) in different amounts from each other to the cards and drives in the PC ??

for example :

Msi supplies less current (or voltage) to the agp than the current supplied by Asus???

msi supply less current or voltage to the cpu than the current or voltage supplied by Asus???

please make things clear for me ,,
thanks

Current is totally dependant on the P/S. A properly regulated P/S will be able to adjust the current available to any card which is a constant not variable load. It is usually better, however, to think in terms of full load voltage. This is the amount of voltage output available at the maximum load permitted without the supply tripping out due to excessive loading. This is dependant on the amount of impedance the supply can handle. The P/S will usually shut down when maximum loading is reached or a thermistor/fuse will open.
