Hey, I was just wondering, since I have several RPG's i'm playing on ps2 right now, would it be worth getting one of the new PS2s instead of using my old first generation, first shipment ps2? Are there graphical upgrades or speed upgrades or HD rendering or anything on the new one, or is there no difference?

No, no, and no. The only difference is size, power efficiency, and heat. Oh... and they added an ethernet port. But that's it.

It's no faster than the original PS2.

The new PS2 is better to use with a swapdisc...

But really there is no point unless you want to play games like MGS3 online and stuff.
