$1500 prize and a $10000 contract... thats hardly going to pay the bills, thats about £6000, thats not even enough to cover my car payments for the year.

It's pretty poor init. Altho say for a student I'm sure it would be cool. They have the time to play games as well :)

Oh, thats right, you get paid nothing! AND, yo uhave to go buy the games and hardware yourself. If you win, or even make the short list, you may end up getting the occasional freelance gig with FiringSquad.
