I've been trying to get Final Fantasy 7 to work under Windows XP, but the game locks up every single time at the opening credits. Black screen, some audio in the background for like 3 seconds, and then the entire system's frozen.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea about what could be causing this?

I'm using an IBM R51 laptop.

I used to run this game on windows Xp and had it working, although it took some patches. Ill try and find them for you
