I've been in the market for a new motherboard recently, and after the review of the SiS 648 chipset, I've been looking to purchase Shuttle's AS45 board but have been unable to find a possible release date. Shuttle's website has been no help, and after scouring through the sites of all their retailers, I've still come up empty handed.

The features on this board sound too good to be true, however I would like to have it in my hands before I head back to school in two weeks. I was chiefly interested in it for the native PC3200 support, but should I just bust my wallet for some RDRAM 1066?

Sure, especially if you overclock, most Kingston PC1066 will go to 600MHz "PC1200" speed, which is 4x150MHz FSB.
