I purchased an 8800 GTS about a month back and it came with GTI racing and Ghost Recon.

And for some reason the racing game works but i can't get ghost recon to work. If tried reinstalling it about 3 times.

Everytime it boots up to a black screen like its about to work and then i get an error report. The same disc worked on my friends computer which is absolutely shit. Anyone know what the problem may be?

It should work fine I have this game i play it on Vista with 8800GTX. Do you have the latest drivers installed for your sound card and video card?

Maybe a problem with your DVD drive? Check the disc for scratches - maybe your mate's drive is less fussy than yours.
