error in HPFWIN11.DLL

Sorry if this post belongs elsewhere but I'm not sure if this is a Winword or Windows ME problem. For some reason, Word worked one day and not the next. Now Word will open, but you can't type without an error message appearing which reads: 'Winword has caused an error in HPFWin11.DLL. Winword will now close.'
I have reinstalled Windows ME to no effect. Any suggestions would be welcome.

HPFWIN11.DLL is NOT a Windows file. I had a customer with alomst the indentical problem the other day (it was HPFWIN14.DLL though). The file is part of your HP printer driver. Uninstalling the driver and installing the lastest version may fix your problem.
