my computer is more than able to run battlefield two. i have the new patch and have reinstalled bf2. still it opens then shuts down again. right after the initial BF2 screen comes up, the one that doesnt take up the full screen. any suggestions? thanks

What kind of graphics card do u have?

I would recommend reinstalling your video card drivers, sometimes if the drivers are outdated with newer games it can cause them to crash automatically.

What are your computer specs? Are you using Vista or XP? Besides re-installing BF2, what else have you tried?

Try re-installing video card drivers (uninstall the old first) and DirectX.

Also, try removing the intro movies, too lazy to find a link, there listed in tweakguides.
