I have a GA-7DXR with the Award BIOS. My system is unstable (dies every 2-3 days) and my video card supplier recommends that the video card have its own IRQ. Right now my NIC and video card share an IRQ.
How do I force IRQ settings in the Award BIOS? I don't understand the BIOS screens and the Gigabyte manual. Right now it appears to put the NIC and video card into a "group" (called 'INT A' in the BIOS) and an IRQ is assigned to that group.
Any idea how I force the AGP slot to have its own IRQ? More details:
GA-7DXR with 1.2GHz CPU
256MB DDR Crucal RAM
40GB 7200RPM HDD
eVGA GeForce2/MX200 64MB video card
24x Sony CD-ROM
24x Yamaha CD-RW
WinXP Home with all critical updates/patches
Thanks.
Jim
