I noticed an option in the settings for dx10 mode, i was curious if anyone has played it in dx10 and can offer some comparisons... does the game look that much better? Are there any significant visual changes? Thanks.

DX10 is not available yet. There will be a huge patch coming out and that will add all the DX10 features to the game. Same goes to Supreme Commander.
Have they released any screenies yet? (of the dx10 mode)
No and funny enough just a few days ago some info leaked out about COH2 or an expansion pack to COH not clear yet. I think that will be the DX10 addition. What i have read so far on every game that will have the DX10 patch done to it is that it is huge.
Chris Taylor said when they asked him about the DX10 patch for Supreme Commander the patch is going to be so huge they probably release it as an expansion pack instead of a patch. That is pretty much the same feeling i am getting about COH. They are working on the DX10 stuff but no screenshots or any other info has been released yet.
I am sure it will look amazing since the game already rocks in DX9. I think they will probably add like smoke effects and stuff like. Like explosions can blow smoke in different direction and probably lots of physic effects since DX10 uses your graphics card for physic calculation.
Well COH is a strategy game and COD2 is a first person shooter. I am not really sure how you can compare the two. As for system req., i think COH has a slightly higher system req than COD2 but i am not sure.
expansion COH pposing fronts announced !!! will use dx10 but there will be a dx 10 patch coming soon, they are done with the actual dx10 part but adding on stuff to the patch
