thankyou for your reply.
i do have spybot ,adware i also use zone alarm
firewall,and regulary install microsoft updates.the one
specific popup hangs in the taskbar loading
as 'Advertising loadin..and is a blank page whilst
another is called 'paypopup'.funny thing but they both
seem to arise when i use Bigpond page, my isp.only been
happening the last couple of days.
i will try your suggestion and use Google tool bar .
