The second i press "play" and my game starts to load (i had played about 30 min before it kicked me off and this started happening) it exits out leaving me with the error message that says "report error to microsoft" or whatever. I tried reinstalling, yielded no solution. tried updating the game but it says "v1.01 required, your version: unkown" I also have the latest drivers for my 8800gts.

I'm running home edition normal 32-bit xp service pack 2,
My system: athlon x2 4600, 2 gigs of ram, 8800gts 320mb

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Its a sweet game!!! this is annoying!

This might sound a bit weird, but are you using a Razer mouse? It seems that there is some kind of driver conflict between the game and the mouse.
