Fried my CPU and MOBO Question

Installing my volcano 9 heatsink I accidently powered on my pc without the heatsink on which fried my cpu, I purchased another cpu, but the mobo did nothing, no beep no nothing, just sat there and started smoking.

My question is:
If I indeed did fry both cpu and mobo what are the chances that the other parts attached are also fried? (memory, video and audio cards, drives)
