Any cost to playing C&C3 online?

For those who have this game - is there any monthly cost to play online through Gamespy? How much is the monthly fee, if any?

Well, while I agree that it is somewhat silly to think you would have to pay to play an RTS online, it is not completely stupid. 10 years ago, if you had told me that there would be a bunch of games that had monthly fees and huge subscriber bases I would have called you crazy, but here we are.

As for WoW being the ONLY ONE... are YOU crazy? What about Everquest, Everquest 2, Ultima Online, Eve Online, Lineage, Lineage 2, City of Heroes, City of Villains, Auto Assault, Dark Age of Camelot, Asheron's Call, etc?

Almost every MMO to ever come out has been pay to play. There have been exceptionaly few notable exceptions. The only ones I can think of off the top of my head are Second Life and Guild Wars. And if you really want to do anything interesting in Second Life you need to have a paid subscription.
