should i get this cpu/board combo? please help

one of my local computer stores is offering an iwill xp333 motherboard with an athlon xp 1800 for $134. i know that isnt the best board for that cpu, but is it still worth getting at that price? thank in advance.

that is a very good price, but i question the value. i dont really trust off brands when it comes to mother boards, it took me a while but i finaly sweetend up to soyo, iwill has not earned any respect from me.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal

I think an 1800+ on a MSI Ultra that the folks here like so much would only be around $160... worth the $30 to get a stable board and DDR333 support... May save you another motherboard upgrade if you buy a new processor later..

Say, what version of DOS is on this sparc thingie?
