Smart card enabled?

I saw an AMD mobo listed with "smart card enabled." is this a big deal? Can this feature be added on to any system?

well do you want to use smart card media?
if so then it might be a big deal... for most of us, no. its just another feature (gimmic?)

useful in a way though for transfering stuff to and from work/other PC's.
