System config:
AMD Athlon XP 1600+
Corsair 256 MB PC 2100 DDR Memory
Abit Siluro GeForce 2 MX-400 64 Mb AGP video card
Apex Supercase w/300W PS
Maxtor 40 GB 7200 RPM IDE HD
Thermal Take Volcaon 6 CPU Fan

I have version 2.0 of the board and it came with the latest bios loaded (F8).

To get the PC to power up, I have to have the bus speed dip set to 100 Mhz. It comes on and goes throught the BIOS set-up. On rebooting, it just stops. The power switches on the case cease to work. The keyboard doesn't work. It doesn't even give a video signal until I reset the CMOS. Then it goes through the same routine. Also, it recognizes my CPU as a 1050 Mhz AMD processor. I'm pretty much dead in the water and need some help. This is getting really frustrating. I've built many systems and never had problems like this.

Set your fsb to 133mhz, then your cpu will be recognized correctly. Maybe you've recieved a bad board. Take out each of the components and test it out on another computer to make sure it works.

I've herd horror stories about this board.. If it's not letting you boot on 133 FSB, then in may be the board..

Say, what version of DOS is on this sparc thingie?
