I just got a P4 2.5G with 533 FSB, my idea was to get a P4B533 for about $130, today when I went to look at the specs of the board I noticed that in the description they say " The P4B533 supports all socket 478 P4 processors including Willamette and Northwood up to 2.2GHz+. The 533MHz FSB increases bandwidth and improves overall system performance."

My question is... does that means... you can put only a 2.2 or I will be able to put the 2.5 there with out a problem?

According to Bios 1006 your mobo is technically able to multiply to 3.2 ghz. You will not, however, be able to go past the 2.8 northy b/c the faster 3+ ghz northies require a new power distributor on the board. But you can go up to 2.8 it seems. I hope this helps. Peace.

Ypu very true. Your 2.5 shouldn't have a problem at all.
