Hi all

The new Nvidia driver is out(May-2-2007) from Nvidia.com. I downloaded version 158.18 for my 8800gts and vista. Now I cant run BF2. Load screen/BF2 icon pop up and then ....right to desktop. I tried another game to see if anything different like Americas Army and no problems all loaded fine. Any suggestions or should I go back to my old driver that worked . Even though the driver is not from Nvidia's site?

I'm using the 158.43 drivers for my GTX, can't remember having any issue so far. They're Beta though, but they seem to work.

Try reinstalling the game, sometimes BF2 would do that even if you updated the drivers on XP.. Saying that I have an ATi graphics card, but it's worth a try. Also delete the temp files that would be placed in your documents or the games directory after you uninstall the game.
