Ok I just got a 5x5 rubik's cube.. This is the "ultimate" one. I've heard its difficult and all and even its looks are intimidating.. but damnnnn, i never thought it would be this hard.. Has anyone solved this and have any tips for me at all? This is the 5x5 (130 squares) rubik's cube not the 3x3 or 4x4. Thanks..

Oh, sure, its easy.

Just peel off all the colored stickers and put them on where you want them to be.

The hardest part of this is getting them to come off cleanly instead of ripping them or losing all the glue.

My recommendation is to use a hair dryer. Just blow on the sticker for a while, then use a scraper to get it off.

Good luck ;-)

Yeah, I've solved it a couple times. It's not that hard. Seriously...

Best advice: shoot anyone who tells you to take the stickers off () and then find someone who can show you.

Barring that, solve the middle 3x3 squares first. (Remember that the six center squares never move, ever! They rotate, but their position is always constant.) Then work on matching the edge pieces together. If you can do that much it'll become the same as a 3x3. You can solve one of those, right?

Good luck.
