Hi there...

I´m about to build a new PC and was wondering which OS to choose. One of my alltime favorite games - Call of Duty - is an OpenGL game, but i´m not sure if Vista supports OpenGL.

Has anyone of you been able to run vCoD-MP in Vista and how was the performance?.

Thanks in advance...

The only vista version i would get is Ultimate. The other vista OS's drag fps in games very low than on XP.

I would stay on XP, my opinion. But if vista is a must have, then Ultimate.

Good luck. :D

I don´t see any reason why Ultimate would provide me with more frames than the other versions???...

Anyway, you didn´t answer my question: is it possible to play vCOD in Vista and - if possible - what was the performance.

It's obviously possible. vCOD has such a low requirement when it comes to processing and graphics power. Hell my old Dell with integrated graphics played it with 30fps on 1024x768.

So yes, vista can play vCOD without a hitch.
