company of heroes shutting down

everything is cool until i start a game, online or single player is same result, it loads part of the way then the program crashes. I checked my drivers and am running hte latest version of the game 1.61. I tried a reinstall of the game and repatched up to the current version but still the same thing. It was working absolutely fine until this started happening yesterday. Any ideas on a possible solution? Thanks.
