apparently the game will only support shader model 2.0. i know that graphics doesn't count as much as gameplay but considering that it will probably be released when there is shader model 5.0 available isn't there a problem with this? i have a feeling its going to look cartoony in a realistic environment.

Smart Shaders 2.0 is hardly cartoony, check out some of the ATi tech demo's that use SM2.0.

You got to consider that its only an RTS aswell. Why would it need shader model 4.0 for a genre that doesn't have the graphical prowess of say First Person Shooters.

The graphics like good enough for my standards of an RTS.

LOL, "will support shader model 2.0", CRYSIS IS SUPPORTING SHADER MODEL 2.0.

Only pieces of garbage like the last splinter cell port had to have SM3.0, look how that garbage came out.
