Repair XP/password

I am trying to use the repair optio on XP Prof. and it ask to enter a password.I have not set a password at all and I just press enter like you should if you didn't set a password and it keeps on asking untill after the 3rd try and then I have to restart. How in the world did a pass word get in there if I didn't set one. Bruce

you can use the disk they use <A HREF="http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/" target="_new">here</A>.

it is actually a linux boot disk that lets you reset passwords for all windows NT or greater.

or you could get a trial of <A HREF="http://www.pillar-solutions.com/p_erd_commander/" target="_new">ERD Commander 2003</A> to get into your system and reset your password.
