get supreme commander if your comp can handle it. my comps having problems for some reason but it looks like an awesome game once you get into it. seriously check it out, just make sure you can run it first otherwise yould end up dissapointed like i am now

Medieval 2 is good and will last you a few months before you will see light of day again.

yeah you wil have a lot of fun with these 2. I thought about getting medieval 2 (i used to play rome total war), but im more into the multiplayer side of RTS games, and in medieval you dont have the whole building units etc side to the online play.

Company of Heroes and Supreme Commander are totally difference. Maybe that is why I enjoy both so much. Company of hero's has smaller maps and you build groups of units like soldiers and take over territories to gain resourses. It's fun expecially on a LAN with some people. Our games lasted 1-1.5 hours maybe with a group of 6 people going at it.

SupCom can last HOURS depending on if you are online, skirmish, or the campaigns. I've played for hours, saved, came back for more later. But the scale is HUGE or can be HUGE. You can build tons of units and just blow everything to bits and peices. I like the fact I can build 200 units and send them through in huge hords. But it can get hard to manage your resources at times. If you played Total Ahhnilation its the same deal just a bit harder to manage. I like it because there is a strategic know how involved. Not just overpowering stuff. You can have a huge army and take a few nukes and be outta the game.
