I recently purchased a new computer with Windows XP, my first experience with this operating system. While moving through my file directory, to locate a document within "My Documents" (Word Perfect or Excel so far), every time I move to a main folder, the system tries to look at the A Drive for information. It chatters and stops any further action until it's done "looking". Does anyone know why this happens or how to stop it? It's driving me nuts and slowing me down.
