ASUS Cuv4x, Windows 200 and memory modules

I have an Asus cuv4x with with 768 mb ram (3x256 133mhz), a pci raid controller and soundblaster live audigy. When trying to install windows with the 3 dimms the cd cannot some files at the beggining of setup. With only 256mb ram everything works fine. I have updated the bios reduced the sdram speed at 100 mhz at cl3 but windows xp refuses to copy the files with 768 mb ram installed. Any other ideas?
