Hi,

I just bought a chaintech 7vjl motherboard with an athlon xp 1800+ CPU.

When I boot my computer, it says that the speed is 1150 mhz. What do I do to put it to it's correct speed, which is about 1.53 ghz I think??? Do I need to change a jumper? Or does the settings are in the BIOS?

Thanks a lot in advance

AHHH!!! So many of this same question. The answer is that your mobo is running at 100MHz FSB, when it's supposed to be running at 133MHz FSB. Go into the BIOS and set is as such.

...And all the King's horses and all the King's men couldn't put my computer back together again...
