Comp specs: Intel Pentium 4 3,4ghz, gigabyte 81945r, 2g ram 553mhz, nvidia 8800 gts.

I have call of juarez on max and res at 1200x. The game has gone fine all the way with frates between 26-60 except when I get to a point where there are about 10 cowboys shooting around at a ranch. My framerates drop to 10. I dont know if this is dew to my ram, graphics card or processor. Anyone out there has advice?

Probably the pentium 4, but you can also just turn your graphics down a notch.

Yes I have tried that but even if I turn graphics down to minimum it does the same :S

Then its probably the processor holding things down. I don't know for sure, but the 8800gts should easily run this game.
