I am in the process of trying to decide which new mobo to get, as it is time for an upgrade. I want an AMD ready board with ddr and AGP8X. I know the new KT400 really isn't much of an improvement from the KT333 but I can't get AGP8X in the KT333 and although it isn't an issue I'm sure 8X will be by the next time I but a graphics card. Unfortunately it seems that all new boards from reputable companies especially the KT400 have a ton of onboard crap, which is of absolutely no value to me (or any other high-end user I would assume), but there seems to be no way around that. So at last we get to the question: WHICH ONE!?! I have pretty much narrowed the choices down to the Asus A7V8X or Gigabyte GA-7VAXP, though there are a few others I am still considering. Since these boards are so new it's hard to find many reviews for them, hence the reason I am posting here, just to see what everyone has to say. I dunno whether it matters or not, but I plan on using the new mobo for high-end graphics, video editing, and gaming. And although I am not hardcore in any of those categories I am just one of those anal people who demands the best performance from everything hehe. I greatly appreciate any suggestions anyone can give.
THANKS!
