My maxtor one touch does not work with windows 7

My maxtor one touch III will not work with windows 7, it worked in vista until I upgraded to 7. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Download the installer from Seagate website.

I did this yesterday for my Onetouch4 that wouldn't work in WIN7.
Right click the program icon on your desktop
Properties
Open in Compatability mode
Windows Vista SP2
Worked for my Onetouch 4

I attached my one touch III to a windows xp computer and used the maxtor software to disable the password protection. (The maxtor software would not load on windows 7). Then I was able to attach the maxtor to my windows 7 64 bit computer and access the files.
