chassis intrusion alarm?

How does CHASSIS INTRUSION ALARM works? Is there any way to make it not trigger?

And Also: In My Asus A7V266-C Mobo manual it is written that when the Chassi I. Alarm is not being used a jumper cap must be placed over the pins to close the circuit. How is that? (since it is a 4 pin connection)...

You'll have to look at the pin diagram or get out a meter, or experiment. One lead should be hot (like +3v or something) the other should be ground I think.
