A friend of mine was just given a Compaq Presario (2.7 GHz Celeron, 512 MB of ram, and 40GB HDD), but it has no AGP slot. It is a fine family computer, but not for gaming. He is a complete history/war freak (High School History Teacher), so I at least want him to be able to play Battlefield 1942. But I put Max Payne and Halo on his computer, too. But the onboard video sucks so bad that 1942 is running at like 4 fps. He needs a pci video card. An old PCI ATI 9100 would be lovely, but almost anything will be a step up from the onboard crap.
