new MB post issue
yawning
Just buildt a new system for my daughter with an Abit KR7A-133.
When I turn it on I get a long (about 1 sec) beep that repeats about every 4 seconds. Any thoughts on what the problem could be??

Look up the error code corresponding to your bios chip. Sounds to me like a memory problem? Check to make sure your RAM is seated correctly. If you have more than 1 stick in, try each one seperately. Or if you have RAM of the same type in a different system (that's working), then put that RAM in and test it.
BTW, in case its your CPU...check and make sure the CPU fan is working. If you pass the RAM testing, I would double check your CPU/heatsink.
