I have photosmart printer like new and am thinking of dragging it out to use
again. I also have 7350 that I am now using that I would like to compare
quality with. I had read somewhere some time ago that HP had newer
repackaged ink carts for older printer. Can anyone tell me anything about
these or is this false information? Would it be worth ordering older ink or
would these just be ones that have been sitting on a shelf and not even
worth the bother.

Thanks
Dan

HP continues to make new cartridges for the original Photosmart printer. When
buying cartridges look for the "install by" date printed on the package,
typically on the lower right of the back of the box or perhaps on the side. I
would look for cartridges with at least six months left before the "install by"
date.

Thanks Bob. I guess there wouldn't still be any around on a shelf in a
store and if they are still being made ordering them would be safe. That
printer has got to be the largest and heaviest one anywhere. Reminds me of
my dad's old buick.
