homepage changing to spam upon reboot

everytime I boot up the comp (windows ME), the homepage is changed to a spam website. Even if I change it, then reboot, it changes it back to the original spam one...anyone got any ideas? Ive ran adaware several times and its picked up nothing...

Do start>run, type regedit, and do a search for the name of that site. Remove all references to it.
