Hey all

I am having a problem with call of duty 2.

The first thing i noticed was my FPS. It is very erratic. If i have it maxed at 200 it should look something like this.

200(200,200,0)

Instead it is more like this

30-200(200,200,0-3)

Basically its constantly changing going as low as about 30 and as high as 200 (because thats where its capped). The last number has something to do with why its changing but i dont know what exactly.

Also when i have it capped at say 1000, it looks like this

30-800(333-500,1000,0-3)

Its really weird. I used to get a stable frame rate if it was capped at 500.

The second thing i noticed is that i get "connection interrupted" flashing on my screen at about 2 second intervals, whenever i use my scope. I zoom in, get the CI flash, when i zoom out it dissapears.

I recently had a UPS (uninteruptable power supply), but when i had high gfx games like fear and oblivion running, the battery would go dead - 750W PSU drawing too much power i guess. So i changed to a simple surge protecter. Could my computer not have enough power, so the network adapter is turning off at micro intervals, or something happening to my gfx cards???

Here are my specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 - 2.66Ghz
XFX Nvidia 8800 GTX 768MB x2 SLI
X-Fi Sound Blaster 7.1
1G RAM - 2 more Gig on the way (could be the problem???)
XFX Nvidia 680i chipset Motherboard
2x 74G 10,000 RPM Raptor HD

Any help would be appreciated.
