How can i tell who keeps modifying a word doc?

is this an auditing issue? we have a "community" folder at the school i work at where students can post their yearbook quotes. well, someone keeps going in and changing peoples quotes. how do i find out who is doing this? we're all 2k here. office and o.s.

Itchy and Scratchy #1325,Itchy plays Scratchy's skeleton like a xylophone; strikes the same rib twice but clearly 2 different notes sound. are we to believe that this is some sort of magic xylophone?

The best idea is for each person to submit their yearbook quote in a Word document and have the track changes feature password protected, that way you will know if it has been changed from the original.

yeah, thought about that but unfortunately the guy running the yearbook would then have to know all the passwords etc. he's copying/pasting into another doc after they do this.

it can be done, dont know how off hand. it seems to me it would be FAR easyer if people just emailed the guy their quotes.
