No it's not illegal it makes an ORIGINAL halo work on xp. (apparently)

Does anyone know how it works cause i get an error saying 'THe application has failed to start because the applications configuration is incorrect' ?I think it might be due to my extensively cut down Windows and the fact that my admin account is not called administrator i anyone know how it works please tell me i have already tried using cmd prompt to use parameters but it does not seem to worh that way.
