Asus A7N266-VM (Nforce 220D)BIOS v.1001 (need to update)
256MB DDR SDRAM
I'm getting completely innaccurate readings in the BIOS. In fact the system 25% of the time will not finish post due to the innaccuracy. It will prompt me about hardware monitor and give me the option to continue (F1) or to enter setup (DEL). When I do go in the BIOS the computer is fine until I try to enter into the Hardware Monitoring portion... after hanging quite a bit it will post the readings. the Vcore is way off at about 1.3v (Asus Probe says 1.65v) and the 12V line is something like 9.2 (Asus Probe says 11.5v in windows). The oddest reading is the mobo temps... which it states are around 130F+ up to 160F in BIOS, roughly double the cpu temps. The thing is none of these readings appear remotely close to what they should be... the computer runs absolutely fine in Windows and is very stable. I have yet to have it crash. I'm wondering if simply flashing the BIOS will cure these hardware monitoring issues or is there something faulty with the board? I bought this board 'refurbished' from newegg. (I know, you don't need to say anything about it being a refurb)
I'll repost with the specific readings when I get a chance to restart. Could it maybe be a jumper setting on the board that was accidently changed? The worst part is the board didn't come with a manual, cd or cables. I'm going to ask for some kind of credit because it wasn't stated that those were missing.

Try flashing the bios and see if that makes a difference. I've got a A7V333, and while the hardware reporting is still off in comparison to the ASUS Probe results, there are settings, in my bios at least, where you can tell the post to ignore particular readings.
