my monitor has a dvi male connector and i want to hook my 360 up to it so i bought a converter and i realized the converter was vga male to dvi female so I want to make sure the 360 will work with it.
well in order to counter my convertor i just next day air ordered a female vga to female vga converter lol...... so now i'll have 2 converters in order to playt eh damn thing on my monitor. Prob only gonna get 720 maximum....ohwell.
I noticed you have a Q6600...if you can possibly help to answer my question on this thread that would be great. If not I know its kinda an iffy situation and its all good! Thx man!
I have the thermalright heatsink and i bought me a nice 90 cfm fan to attach to it(I dont think the fan is doing shit TBH) and i have it overclocked to 3 ghz 333x9 and my system is beautifully stable and fast. 1.4 v core. Orthos stable(I havent run it for 24 hours but I never crash or anything and my system is on all day) I play company of heroes at 2560x1600 with 16 AA and everything else maxed with 30 frames per second. Lifes good except that ati's latest drivers have been crashing my system lol. I highly recommend this processor especially when the price is cut.
btw I would recommend the vigor gaming monsoon II cooler as I am getting 55 in speedfan at orthos full load(games are only like 52) so that cooler would probably be a lot better. I planned on getting that cooler but it was out of stock until today!

If you still care, the VGA cable for the 360 is male. However, there is a gender changer (female in, female out) included, so it'll work for you regardless of your setup.
