Under Windows 98, if I used the "Send To" facility on the right-click
context menu, I had an option of Send To Any Folder. (I believe this may
have been one of the PowerToys).
Is there a way of installing this option in XP?

Actually, many of the previous PowerToys work very well in XP, like the Send
To any folder. There are only a few that should not be used like previous
versions of TweakUI.

The following will add a copy to/move to option to the R-click menu.
Start the Registry Editor
Go to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT \ AllFilesystemObjects \ shellex \
ContextMenuHandlers \
Right-click the ContextMenuHandlers entry, and from the menu select New >
Key
Name the new key Copy To
Repeat step 3, but this time for the name (step 4) choose Move To
Change the (Default) string value found in the Copy To key to
{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
Change the (Default) string value found in the Move To key to
{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}
Close the registry editor
Thanks to an unknown author. It works very well.

The link was to the Powertoys for BOTH Windows 95 and Windows NT. They
work just fine under Windows XP. I've been using several of them,
including SendTo, since January. They were developed for Windows 95 and
NT and have not been tested for other versions of Windows and that is
why those other versions are not listed as supported. The news
Powertoys for Windows XP do not have a SendTo tool.
