Hi,
I am trying to use the local LAN connection for linking 2 XP computers (1
laptop, 1 desktop) using a crossover patch cable. The laptop configuration
works perfectly and has been tried in another office configuration - but my
home desktop constantly displays the taskbar icon advising that " A network
cable is unplugged" - I have checked the patch cable (RJ45) and all is fine.
Any suggestions of how to overcome this error message will be very welcome!
Thanks in advance.
