Every so often - about 20% of the time I start my computer - MBM5 crashes it. I have it set to start with windows and sometimes it crashes the system when it tries to start. I've set it to System, Boot, and Automatic. What gives? And why does it only do it sometimes? My system is overclocked. Does that have any adverse affects to starting it with windows?

If you installed MBM5 while your pc was OC'd, that may be the problem. Early on in reading up on OCing, I heard a bunch about not installing proggies when OC'd due to these sorts of probs.

Don't know if that's baloney or not. If I was you I'd just uninstall and then reinstall to see if that clears it up. Course, you've prolly already done that. If all else fails, may have to back off the OC and install. If that worked it would sort of prove the above theory.

Good luck with it
EDIT: Once it's installed, OCing after that s/n/b a problem. I always install b4 an OC and then run it while OCing.
