Have old Athlon - which new MB?

I have an old athlon 700 mhz cpu. I am not sure of it is a K6 or not. I know it is sitting in a socket A motherboard. Is this chip compatible with the Soyo Dragon Plus or any of the new boards that are out there? Thanks!

No doubt, your processor is Athlon. Highest clocked K6-2 was available at 550 MHz

What kind of Athlon it is- Athlon "Classic" with Slot A interface or Athlon T-bid with Socket A interface?

If you don't know, then download WCPUID and get info about your cpu and cpu interface. Then I/We can answer your question.
