The loudest CDMA phone?

Forum Network Providers : Verizon The loudest CDMA phone?

A heard of hearing retiree; not yet into a hearing aid, wants a color flip
phone with the loudest ring possible. Looking for the loudest ringing
phone? Even if we have to create/download a loud ringer!

He had a startac, and it was almost okay. I am wondering if you have some
thoughts that might help? Thanks in advance.

As an aside: we suggested he check with his audiologist, but he declined.

I have used or tested most of the currently available, and I would recommend
the LG VX4400. They are getting hard to find, but can be. Loudest ring and
earpiece volume.

Similar situation here, I have an Audiovox CDM9500, works great out of the
box.

The Motorola v60s has a good loud earpiece, and has a very loud
speakerphone mode.

As an audiologist, I thank you for your suggestion to him. Now for the
topic, my LG VX4400 is the loudest cell phone I have had or have heard
amongst the ones my friends have.

I would suggest going to your nearest
verizon store and listening to the
different ring tones on the different
phones. That is what I did and found the
LG brand to be the loudest. I picked the
LG-6000...

I have the Motorola T730. I did have the LGVX4400. I loved my 4400,
but it would constantly cause feedback after I got my hearing aids.
If I took the hearing aids out, the 4400 was GREAT!!
I got tired of that, and searched for around 3 months before I found
one that I have NO problem with. The Motorola T730, believe it or
not, works best for me. The rings are especially louder for me. I
missed countless calls with the 4400 because I didn't hear the ring.
I have yet to miss one with the T730 because I have never failed to
hear the ring.
Now, this is not to put the 4400 down, for it is a great phone. My
wife has one and loves it. I have found, however, the T730 works
better for me. The earpiece on it has a small cup in it which stops
the feedback.
Hope this helps.

Thank you for the suggestions, I had the opportunity to activate a moto
c343, and the standard ringer was loud, lannoying loud, and still loud from
across the room. Just what the customer said he wanted. But in the end,
it will be the customers choice, so I'll have ready for him with: 4400,
8900, c343, and if that doesn't work, we'll send him to a corporate store to
try em all.
