Hi,

Does anyone out there know where I can either buy a cable to connect a Dell 320W PSU to a Dell PowerEdge 4400 board, or the pinouts so I can build my own cable?

I've searched quite a lot for this, I even asked Dell and still I'm none the wiser.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thanks,

Ken

Nope,

Theres no cables danglinging from the PSU, hence I need a cable.
The board is a server board, not like a normal AT/ATX set up.

Yes, its a PSU and no, the wires have not been chopped off.

It's a whats called a redundant PSU and connects differently.
The PSU has a connector block on it that one end of a cable will plug into, the other end will plug into the motherboard.

can you get the model of both the mobo and PS? Dell has pages like these:

http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/systems/dmag/techovu.htm#dc_power_connector_pin_assignments so maybe you can find the particular page for both, and put them together.

It's always the one thing you never suspected.
