well...suddenly out of the blues....the wheel on my microsoft intellipoint mouse won't work...when i goto control panel-mouse....the last button there is supposed to be for the wheel settings...its disabled.!!!!....and it dont allow me any options to enable it.....i downloaded the latest drivers from microsoft...but still the wheel options are unclickable...!!!!
this may seem a silly problem...but i got used to using the mouse wheel.....its frustrating to go without it...
help please...!!!

What OS are you using? Win98 has built in drivers for wheel mice! It sounds as though your mouse is loosing connection to the wheel, either through a bad cord or internal failure.
